Sanofi AEM Design System
XDS x Sanofi x AdobeXD x Accenture x Indegene
Partnering heavily with the Sanofi internal marketing team, we created a templated-design system that would work for the entire suite of Sanofi brands within Accenture’s stringent AEM CMS.
We took on the Lantus patient site, the Adlyxin patient & HCP sites, & the Toujeo patient site as a part of the initial re-design push. Through our active collaboration with Accenture, we were able to find the fine line of enabling brand customization and centralizing corporate templates. As reported in the Adobe XD article: “To find out if the new design system and templates drove efficiency gains, the Sanofi team did a comparison. Looking at two recently completed web design projects where only one used the design system and templates, the project that used the new approach saw a reduction in creative costs by 52%.”
After participating in a 2-day web summit in Sanofi’s NJ HQ offices, our system was passed along to the other agencies involved in the company-wide migration of brand sites to a new CMS template structure.
A notable part of the project was fleshing out the form architecture & user experience for a savings and support multi-tiered contact form. We prioritized accessiblility when creating the experience with Accenture; our development specs & FDA submission documents were 50-100 pages per form. The UI & UX have been updated since launch, but you can view the live Lantus Savings & Support form structure here.
